My current interests include anything that involves my very active and busy six year old son and the love of my life, my husband Clint. Anything creative and artistic will catch my eye. I really love photography and just became owner of a Canon Digital EOS. Oh how I have waited for that camera!! I hope to become more involved in this hobby in the upcoming months! I am currently sewing and embroidering baby clothes for all of my many pregnant friends and family. I think it's in the water these days. Thank God I don't drink water.
Music
I like most anything. For the past several years "my music" has gone into the back ground to be replaced by Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers! Name a kids song and I know it start to finish! This kinda makes me sad, but I guess it means good things, right? I was a huge music lover before I became a Mom. A few include: Ani DeFranco, WSP, Indigo Girls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction......... oh, those were the good ole days! THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO 'ROUND AND 'ROUND!
Movies
I thought I was a movie lover until I got married! Now I see that I know NOTHING about movies! I often get the question, "Do you remember that scence from blah, blah, blah....that was great!" I have no idea what he is talking about or that there are so many movies that are AWESOME!!! Kyle is following in his daddy's footsteps in this area. I often have the same conversation with him, like "Hey remember that time we watched so-in-so and they said, "(then gives a word for word two minute dialouge of the show)" When I respond with, "What? Huh?" he looks at me with the same "you are so lame when it comes to TV" look that Clint always gives! I guess I'm just a novice, but my favorite will always be "The Memphis Belle" And can you believe my husband had never watched this movie until we met!!
Television
I have a six year old TV hog so until 9pm it's all Zack & Cody, Hannah Montana, Drake & Josh .........that I can stand! I have to say that I certainly enjoy TV time with him more since he is past the Rugrats/Dora stage. Some of those shows are pretty cool! After nighty night time, I love reality TV. I am such a sucker for pointless reality shows!!! And don't get me started on American Idol!!!!
Books
I am currently reading, "Until I Find You" by John Irving. I have always been a lover of books. This is the first book I have owned that is a "fun" read in 2 years, it's been all about school and medical stuff for the past year and a half! I'm sure there will be more reading for enjoyment to come!!
Heroes
My Husband, Son, Parents, God and my church family. I have to mention Dr. Coleman. I gained more knowledge about medicine and life in general while working with him in the ER than I ever gained in school! If you have watched an episode of HOUSE then you know Dr. Coleman. He is such a teacher & genius in my opinion, although everyone does not share my view! He'll cuss you out and embarass you in an instant about a patient, but I will always be a better nurse having had the priviledge to work with him! And probably a ton of others that will not come to mind right now!
About me:
I am the proud mommy of the most wonderful six year old you will ever meet! I have a great husband who hates the fact that I love MySpace so much! I recently graduated nursing school for the second time. Passed the Ga State Board exam in May 2006. I have been working as a Psych nurse in drug & alcohol rehab, currently looking to expand my experiance to some other area of psychology. None the less, I love my addicts! My husband & I bought a house about five years ago and are currently looking for a house plan that we both agree on in hopes of building in the next year or so. We love our current home, but have already outgrown it in such a short period of time. Bigger and better things to come I guess. My plans for the future are to continue working with my Addicts, be the best Mom and Wife that I can be and maybe have another baby soon (I'd like to get back to "pre-baby" weight first!!) I'd like to go back to school in the next few years, see how far I can go with this Nursing thing. I thank God every day for the blessings I have been given and pray that they continue for me and all of those I love!!

I am good. Just bought a waverunner so that is taking up a lot of my time these days. Sister did get married, May 10th. Things on her end seem to be OK. Still not married, and not even seeing anyone at the moment. Still looking though. I did know about Beth Hosey. Her Dad is married to my Uncle's mom so I knew immediately. Other than that life is ho-hum at the moment.
Beautiful Mommies on myspace! Once you've been hit, you have to hit 8 awesome Moms. If you get hit again you will know that you are really beautiful (or just have the same friends as...your friends..)! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, really. But it's always nice to hear that someone thinks you're Beautiful!
Before I was a Mom I never learned the words to a lullaby.
I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Drooled on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple little grin. I never sat up for hours watching a baby sleep.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
