| General | Depends on how I feel when I get up. Some days my interest could be reading a good book. Just finished the Davinci Code and Angels and Demons. Tom Brown is a fantastic writer. By the way, the book was way better than the movie. Other days could be a cooking or baking day. Always like to try new recipes and try them out on my friends at work. I love animals (sometimes more than people). They give unconditional love. My dog, Shelby, is my friend, my companion and a true protector of her mom! Sorry guys, if she don't like you, you're out! She knows! My little grandson is a big interest to me. He's five months old and I haven't got to hold him yet. I can't wait for that day. I get lots of pictures though and that helps. He is such a cutie! I love walking by the ocean, eating in nice and unique restaurants, trying new foods. Well, the list can go on and on. Life just has so many adventures....one never knows what the next day will bring.

| | Music | Almost any kind of music except Rap. Don't care for that. I love Rod Stewart songs, especially "For the First Time". Yes, Blake, i even like many of your KISS songs. Enya has some beautiful music. I like Kidd Rock and Cheryl Crow doing 'Picture". I like the oldies from the 50's. Nobody has ever topped Elvis. And good old Patsy Cline! There is just so much music that one can listen too, it would be easier to say what I don't like.
| | Movies | Oh boy, Davinci Code was the last one I saw and it was good. Not as good as the book though. An old favorite is Sleepless in Seattle. The Abyss, Wizard of Oz, First Knight, Chronicles of Narnia was pretty good, Lord of the Rings series, 40 Year Old Virgin made me laugh more than any movie. There are just too many to name. We have over 300 DVD movies. | | Television | American Idol, of course! Everybody Loves Raymond, CSI: Criminal Intent, CSI: New York, Law and Order, Medium, Jay Leno, CNN News if I'm in the mood (it's always a downer though) Music videos, Mama's Family (an old series), some of the old black and white shows, like What's My Line and the Honeymooners. | | Books | Love to read books. Davinci Code...excellent! Angels and Demons...almost better! In Cold Blood...fascinating and true. The Outlander Series by Diana Gabildon. Sylvia Browne's books. The First American series. Some of Sherlock Holmes stories. Charles DeLint (a Canadian writer) has some good books. And of course, Stephen King, Dean Koontz (yikes), Danielle Steel, James Patterson. Wow, this list could go on for a while...

| | Heroes | My Mom. She is the centerpost of our whole family. She is the glue that binds us together and always finds the time for any one of us five kids and their families. She is 73 years old and keeps on going like the Eveready battery rabbit!!
My unsung heroes are all the police officers, and firefighters, that put their lives on the line every day, not knowing if they'll go home that night. And they do this day in and day out from the goodness of their heart, knowing that if they can help someone or save a life, it is worth it. And all our young soldiers fighing on foreign soils for our freedoms today. True heroes.

Who I'd like to meet:
Martha Stewart, Sean Connery, George Clooney, my grandson Jason, Sylvia Browne, my dog's mother and father to see if they are like her, KISS so I could tell Gene Simmons to go see Blake, Rod Stewart, Jay Leno, wish I could have met Johnny Carson. There are lots of people I'd like to meet that are trying to run the country, so I could give them some new ideas besides fighting and killing to get what they want. Isn't that one of the ten commandments??? Ok, that's enough...
