I don't have heroes. I do have the 'arsehole test', which is simply to pretend I don't know a famous person, and introduce myself. Within a minute, I know whether they're an arsehole or not.

I write for the UK's best poker magazine, Inside Poker. I've also contributed to publications for other leading companies in the industry, including Betfair, Poker Listings, and Gutshot.
I work in Poker Room Managementfor PokerStars, the biggest online cardroom in the world. I was on TV in early 2006 playing in the British Poker Open (I came second in my heat to Tournament of Champions winner Mike Matusow).
When I'm not at the poker table, I enjoy listening to good music, watching good movies, drinking nice wine, going to the gym (OK, I don't actually enjoy that), watching / doing mixed martial arts and relaxing with friends.
I'm a blue belt in Wado-Ryu Karate and have trained in a number of other disciplines, including Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Jeet Kune Do and Kuk Sool Won.
