Starbucks Canada Edmonton, AB CA Super Barista...ha ha West Edmonton Mall
About me: I am thinking it is high time I updated this because it has remained unchanged for well over a year.
SO!...down to brasstacks (twy not to sit on them, it huwts!) I have recently rediscovered my Canadian roots by spending the last 7 months in Edmonton, Alberta. I absolutely loved it! The winter was fabulous! I even enjoyed walking to work when it was 40 below and my car wouldn't start...
I loved working at Starbucks in the West Edmonton Mall...and hanging out with my wacky friends and brother and sister-in-law. I moved 3 times in my 7 months so I got to know a fair amount of the city. I cannot wait to go back! And, by the way, STARBUCKS IS AWESOME! hee hee hee.
Besides the fact that northern climates intrigue me (the farther north the better) there are many more facets to me that I'm sure you are dying to find out: I appear relaxed but in reality I am VERY driven and idleness upsets me. I hang my fuzzy socks on my snowboard to dry after they've been laundered. I read and read and read and read. I follow Apolo Anton Ohno - not stalk of course - even when it's not the Olympics (and he just won Dancing With The Stars!!). I have a keen sense of smell. Dr. Gregory House is my inspiration. :) My car has 356,000 MILES on it (Toyota, of course). I have a VERY large poster of Johnny Depp. I love my new LandRollers. I can make a chicken out of a wash cloth. I know the other verses of the Star Spangled Banner. Animals interest me as does snowboarding, wakeboarding/skating, swimming, tennis, music, violin, people, the Olympics, 110+ degree weather, chocolate chips, stars, family, snow, wilderness, adventure, the colour orange, friends, languages, customs, patriotism, and Benjamin Franklin. :)
I like people who make me laugh, inspire me, give me hugs or special surprises (flowers are a big hit), have a talent for making up new words, and anyone else who lives and breathes because there is something to be learned from everyone.
"love many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe"
Who I'd like to meet: Apolo Anton Ohno, Johnny Depp, Lance Armstrong, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, LM Montgomery, Albus Dumbledore, Dan Millman, Itzhak Perlman, Tony Blaire, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Abraham Lincoln
You are a natural born leader, even if those leadership talents haven't been developed yet.
You have the power and self confidence to succeed in life, and your power grows daily.
Besides power, you also have a great deal of creativity that enables you to innovate instead of fail.
You are a visionary, seeing the big picture instead of all of the trivial little details.
You're super sensitive and easily able to understand situations.
You tend to solve complex problems in a flash, without needing a lot of facts.
Decision making is easy for you. You have killer intuition.
The right path is always clear, and you're a bit of a visionary.
You are one of the most balanced people around:
motivated and focused. You are good at getting what you want.
You rule at success, but success doesn't rule you.
When it's playtime you really know how to kick back,
whether it's hanging out with friends or doing something you love!
