Right now I'm going to school to get my nursing certificate and I'm also working as well as taking care of my three children.
Music
Variety rules according to music. Alternative mostly except that I don't really get to listen to much as I am constantly trying to entertain the children. Although Connor does seem to quiet down when he hears ICP or Snow Patrol.
Movies
Scary movies, suspenseful movies, funny movies. I don't get out to the movies all that often. Although there are a couple that I'd like to go see.
Television
Basically five shows are on : Grey's Anatomy, MoonLight, Bones, Men in Trees, House.
Books
House of Leaves; The Harry Potter Series; Piers Anthony's Xanth series; Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series; and last but not least smut novels line the bookshelves I own, mostly Nora Roberts and Karen Marie Moning.
About me: Well, I am 24 with three beautiful children. Married on the way through the divorce. I work at Whataburger somewhere between part and full time. I attend college full time and am transfering to the nursing program next spring so that by 2010 I will have my Vocational Nursing License. But mostly my life is my kids. I love them and I do everything for them. And I will keep anyone, including my ex-husband, from hurting them in any way whether it be physical or psychological or emotional.
Who I'd like to meet: If I could meet anyone in the world live or dead it would be Leonardo di Vinci. A brilliant man, artist, and engineer he encouraged ideas and freethinking and was far before his time.
Other than that I would like to meet Julie Andrews. She's a very special woman who can light up any day with a song. I must admit that this ideal mostly appeals to me because my children love to listen to the 'feed the birds' song from Mary Poppins to go to sleep.
