| General | Art, specifically Art Brut and Cubism works by Picasso and Juan Gris, Pop Art, and one of my favorites are 50's pin-up era art (Dave Stevens is a modern Betty Page GOD!). Oh just for the record, Mark Ryden owns you all as well as your souls as a painter/illustrator :) I don't like long walks on the beach and candle light dinners, but I do like short walks between busy city traffic and dinners in the dark lit with glow-sticks. Yes I am a smartass and cynical, but I do it out of my own amusement of the inability of many people to discern between sarcasm and serious inflection on the digital medium (NET'). Milla Jovovich is not only a fascinating women as an artistic influence, she is also officially the queen of mars and/or Earth! and no there are no disputes allowed to that claim. I like fellow artists of all mediums and I absolutely LOATHE artists in one medium arguing that another medium isn't as relevant as the one they are in, its absolute bollocks! I like to watch people in public and see how they act when nobody is looking, or at least under the impression that nobody is. Does the afforementioned make me a stalker? NO, does it make me weird? PROBABLY, but who the hell is to decide what is normal and what is weird? I have an incredible personal and artistic fascination in the works of Lewis Carrol and Frank Baum (Alice in Wonderland and Oz series respectively), and I happen to be lucky enough to have female art friends who look like adult-oriented realizations of the female leads of both series. I have a huge love of women who are not affraid to go against the whole gender role bullshit that people try to push, and I find women with tats' and piercings to be INCREDIBLY sexy. At the same time, I think all women have an attribute that makes them attractive, and yes, even a 500 lb. woman has curves and deffinition that are so interesting and unique that only they possess. I'm trained in life drawing so that is a very big passion of mine, and I think through education in the arts that it has opened my eyes into the outward perception of beauty versus the inside perceptionof self. I very much like the dark and dark places, not because I think I'm Dracula him-fuckingself, but because I like the calm and quiet of that time night. I like forrests that have curving and winding paths, but not so many that I end up getting lost and get hit over the head with a rock by an un-seen supposedly scary "witch". I'm a huge sucker for Good Times, yes the show from the 1980's, television is mainly garbage at this time in pop culture and it pains me that more socially relevant and entertaining material isn't readily available. I read what I like when I like it, I do like works fiction such as Baum and Poe and Carrol and Dickens etc. but I'd just as soon switch another moment to some science fiction by Harlan Ellison. Women should dress up like Tinkerbell more, women in green are so incredibly yummy ^_^ I'm not a "Net Critic" when it comes to music, I listen to what I want as opposed to trying to go against conformity by non-conforming and then fitting into the conformity of non-conforming. I listen to DISOWN (THEY ARE POTENTIALLY THE NEXT BREAK THROUGH IN MUSIC THAT DOESN'T BLOW EXPIRED MILK TEETS), Smashing Pumpkins, Eric Clapton, Garbage, Beethoven, Atomic Blondes, Sex Pistols (Sid Viscious still rules you all!), Evanescence (Although Amy Lee is the real talent of the band as her voice and pianist ability is amazing, not to mention she is gorgeous), Tiny Tim, David Bowie, Hendrix, Placebo, Orgy, etc. If you don't like any of the groups mentioned, please feel free to use my page as scrap paper as I could give a damn less what your opinion of them is. I don't support stealing files, but I strongly oppose the Recording and Artists industry and I feel that they are crying bitches when so many other fields of art openly share works for FREE and still make a living. Thats all I feel like typing for now, if you are still awake after this and want more, I suppose I could send you a trandscript, but it would just be easier to ask me directly. | | Music | SEE ABOVE RANT. | | Movies | Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Return to Oz, Mutiny on the Bounty, Fight Club, The Matrix Trilogy (fuck you net critics that don't "GET IT" and therefore dismiss it as a fluke success), Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Pecker, Pee Wee's Big Adventure (Paul Reuben is officially king of MARS! NO DISCUSSION!), Friday the 13th series, Nightmare on ElmStreet series, Halloween series (John Carpenter perhaps defined the modern "cerebral" horror device), George Romero's Living Dead series, Dario Argento's Suspiria is amazing, and people forget he directed and helped write the un-cut version on Dawn of the Dead, on a side note, his daughter is incredibly sexy and sadly appeared along side Mr.Clean himself Vin Dweebel in XxX, which is what it should have been rated so more people couldn't see it,ClockWork Orange, Labyrinth, I'm also incredibly turned on by those movies I recorded of you in the shower doing random acts of debauchery, but I probably shouldn't be so forthcoming with that info :P | | Television | Nip/Tuck is one of the only modern day programs that doesn't entirely fucking bore me. Family Guy, American Dad, Aquateen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021,and especially The Boondocks which has created a modern "renaissance" in making people realize cartoon art is art and slapping the shit out of anyone figuratively speaking who doesn't "get it". | | Books | SEE ABOVE RANT IN MY INTERESTS SECTION. | | Heroes | My Grandfather who has always been more of a father to me, My mother for raising me as a single-mother and being one of the best friends I have in my life, Professor Washington at EMU who taught me when I started there that I didn't know shit about drawing, and then proceeding to foster me artistically as his project for 3 years to bring me to a level of artistic excellency and outside of class as a mentor and a true role-model, Professor Rubenfeld for showing me that Art History doesn't have to be taught by the book backing up the thought I always had on the subject. Professor Atzmon and Andy Maniotes in the graphic design department by teaching me early on that the hardest thing you can do in design is be willing to start from scratch at any moment in order to do a successful piece of work. Rowdy "Roddy" Piper, yes he is a professional wrestler, but I have been friends with a lot of professional wrestlers off-camera and they are some of the most creative individuals ever, Piper just fascinates me with the character he represents on camera, if you think that is sappy or lame, I couldn't care less and my favorite artsy female pal Megan who is perhaps one of the most beautiful and talented drawing students I've ever had the pleasure to know. Last but not least, Shaft because nothing needs to even be said why I would pick him as a hero. |

Who I'd like to meet:
SOMEONE NAMED JO WHO IS FROM PLANET FUNKOTRON :) Preferably someone of the Homosapien-Genus species, I mean animals are grrreat and whatnot, but Tony the Tiger does nothing for me sexually :( I need to meet someone as happy to criticise life as they are to truly appreciate it. I don't freeze my meat popsicle in RANDOM freezers, so skanky e-tarts need not apply. Oh and you must be willing to laugh at my corny ass jokes as unfunny and stupid as they may be. I have to warn anyone who potentially wants to hang with me that if you ever break any of my art supplies, I will make you dress up like a monkey and sing "Tip toe through the tullips" in public. I also have a huge weakness for MONKEYS :D
