| General | I enjoy:
Long Distance Running, Doing art with Oil Pastels, getting coffee or other sorts of drinks/foods with smart and fun people, Singing in the Shower, Eating large amounts of Peanut Butter, Eating large amounts of Chocolate, Reading lots of books (esp. about philosophy, space-time, bioethics, genetics, historical fiction, etc...)
I also enjoy:
Smiling (which produces an undue number of laugh lines under my eyes), Backpacking, Dancing (to my own beat I assure you), playing games, cat-napping, playing chess, swimming, studying, and lots of other groovy things!
Like Amusment Parks!! Candy!! Renting Movies!! Going out to Dinner!! And pretty girlie things. :)

Listening to the Indigo Girls as I run naked through the forest and then get on the back of a unicorn...I guess a horse will do!

Oh- and dance music because I absolutley LOVE LOVE LOVE to dance. I mean LOVE to go dancing. | | Movies | Star Trek movies (I just can't help it), Equilibrium, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem for a Dream, Truman Show, Thank you for smoking, Pan's Labyrinth, Sybil, Harry Potter, and things of those general natures | | Television | I don't actually have TV. I have a television but I don't have "TV" (i.e. cable). But I like Star Trek (next generation pretty much exclusively, though the original series was fun in a different way), Battlestar Galactaca, ER (when I use to watch it), Law and Order (when I use to watch it), the Food Network in general (who doesn't love Iron Chef and fantasizing about being a food critic traveling the world talking about delicious things?), and all those Discovery Channel/History Channel, etc... shows on interesting things. | | Books | The Beggars Trilogy (Nancy Kress), Oryx and Crake, Handmaiden's Tale, Nicomachean Ethics, Chronicles of Narnia (though as I read them now the religious undercurrents are really more like giant tidal waves), The Great Divorce, The Painted Bird, Harry Potter, Crime and Punishment, etc... etc... | | Heroes | Yoda |

About me:
So my name is Heather- I'm into philosophy (thankfully...considering I chose to major in it [and minor in Genetics/Technology and Society), science fiction shows/movies (I LOVE Star Trek: Next Generation and more recently Battlestar Galactaca), science fiction/speculative fiction books (e.g. Oryx and Crake, Beggars Trilogy, Handmaiden's Tale, Brave New World, etc...), Triathlons ( UCLA Triathlon team), hiking, cruisin' on my cruiser bike down Venice Beach, going to the movies, trying new food (I love LOVE going out to eat!), singing (primarily in the shower, while getting dressed, cleaning, walking around town, driving alone or with others, etc...), and overall having a good time and talking with witty people :)
