Photography, Travel, Concerts, Riding motorcycles. For my birthday 2005 I took a HD Softail to Brown County and spent time putting around. For my birthday 2006 I took a Electra-Glide out west to Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, Arches and Zion National Parks. This year it's hard to say but more than likely it will involve a motorcycle. I have always been into electronics, home stereo etc. I took my hobby, went to IVY Tech, got my electronics degree and changed professions mid-life. I like to work on restoration of my house. It was built in 1910; I hate to say its slow going. I like making stuff grow. I did not say gardening because one day you may see the weed patch I call a garden. I like to go target shooting and of course like any red-blooded American male, cool cars.
Music
I can appreciate most types of music. Especially if it ROCKS!!! AC/DC, Areosmith, Guns & Roses and other classics, but I'm not stuck in the 80s. Looking through my CD's you'd find Buckcherry, Avenged Sevenfold, The Offspring, Audioslave, NIN, KORN. I like angry female rockers like Alanis Morrisett, Avril Lavagne. New country music that reminds me of old Southern Rock like Musik Mafia (Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Cowboy Troy). I do not like the old sad country songs, if I want sad I'll watch CNN. What happens when you play an old country song backwards? You get your farm back, your wife comes home and the tractor starts to run. When I feel especially mellow I like John Prine, Nora Jones, and Fiona Apple. I listen to Sirius satellite radio channels 19 Buzzsaw, 20 Octane, 23 Hair Nation , 27 Hard Attack. I just got XM and so far like 48 Squizz
Movies
The best movie ever is The Blues Brothers. It's funny, has the best car chases ever put on film, interesting characters and a relatively happy ending. The second funniest movie ever is Mel Brookes Blazing Saddles. In recent releases I liked "O Brother Where Art Thou" (Even though I'm not a big fan of George Clooney’s politics) I like parody movies like the Wayans Brothers, Scary Movie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I don't really like movies that rely solely on blood and gore to cover a poorly written plot. I hate when you know who the killer is half way through the movie or when in the last 3 minutes the spring the “evil twin” on us to tie up all the loose ends. What can I say? I like quirky, well-developed characters that have depth.
Television
I love to laugh so I watch almost anything on Comedy Central, South Park, RENO 911, Chappelle’s Show, and Mad TV. I'm not embarrassed to say I sometimes watch Sponge Bob Squarepants. I like the Food Network shows Good Eats w/ Alton Brown and Paula's Home Cooking, where it doesn't matter what she's making it takes 2 sticks of butter (Definitely not low calorie living). DIY shows like New Yankee Workshop and This Old House. I stay up with current events with FOX news and balance their stories with CNN. I enjoy watching the History Channel. There are so many historic events and people that you never hear about. Every once in a while I watch Jerry Springer because it makes me feel good about myself. I've done some silly stuff before but I've never impregnated my uncle-brothers, half-sisters circus freak 2nd cousin (Maybe her 3rd cousin but definitely not her 2nd, I'm not a weirdo).

OK, so I have to convince you that I'm "perfect" in this little box. I've never been good at these self-selling things, but I'll give it a whirl. So, me in a box: ready, set, go! I am the independent middle child. You will find I'm not needy, clingy or controlling. I see myself as stable, grounded and loyal to my friends (Friends help you move, real friends help you move bodies). I take my commitments seriously and will stick by my friends’ stories no matter how bad I know they messed up. I’m pretty straight forward and try to be tactful but sometimes I can't avoid being a little sarcastic. Now with the difficult part done lets move on to the fun stuff.
For fun I like going on motorcycle adventures, going to concerts, working on my home and, playing with Sam The Dog. I am always open to new experiences. I am not much of a sports fan but probably could learn with the right motivation. I love to laugh. To me there is almost nothing that feels better than laughing so hard you almost pass out. By the way Erik the Awful is a Ray Stevens song. In reality I'm just a little awful.

Hey! So it's been quite awhile since I've talked to you but i've been working like a dog and my gas money is short this week cause I'm finally going to get my car aligned! Anyway, how have things been?
So the timer on the stove went off last night and about gave me a heart attack THEN this morning the smoke detector in your room went off... TWICE! I couldn't even figure out what it was at first. Don't worry though, I think the battery is going or someone was burning something cause the house isn't on fire or anything.
