About me: Let's go from recent history to further back in history...Mid-way through my 11th year as a band director / drumline instructor. Working on a Masters in Composition at Tx State Univ. Married to the most brilliant girl in the world, and beautiful to boot! Was in drumline and steel band before graduating from UNT. Marched 2 years of Drum and Bugle Corps. Was a music major and in several performing groups while at Temple Junior College. Went to high school in and grew up in Rogers, TX with a great Mom, Dad, and Sister. Was born.
Who I'd like to meet: Jim Lovell, Story Musgrave, Jenna Fischer, Jack Nicklaus, W.G. "Snuffy" Walden, and James William Bottomtooth.
There's also a beautiful rec trail that runs all the way around Monterey Bay so you can walk, bike, etc from Fisherman's Wharf to Cannery Row and all the way around to Asilomar Beach and Pacific Grove (that's where we lived) ... beautiful views ...
We always spent a lot of time on Cannery Row and at the aquarium (one of the best in the nation). I would definitely do some vineyards. My favorite was Chateau Julien. The other thing we did that was incredible was on Cannery Row you can rent an restored Model A (or others) and do the beach drive to Big Sur and beyond. Enjoy! I love it there and can't wait to go back someday.
