Born 23 January 1986 (Arthur)...known DJ Stamina first bought a pair of decks when I was 17, he started to mc but found that being a DJ was more challenging.
Learnt to play piano at age 17 self taught, then later bought guitar and pro mixers..that was when the dream to be a producer started..
wiht the help of FL studio i am now able to make upto 6 beats a day all from stratch with vocal or witthout.. but 20 i had my own mini studio ready set.
i dont save my beats to avoid recycling i just export and make a new beat
thats the only way u learn to have your own style.. i am influenced by a number of artists, from R&b ..hip and rock.. and a bit a reggae...i would have to say rock is a major influence and the reason behind me buying a guitar..next step is drums.. "all round musician".
many producers say " how can you make a beat only using strings". for me strings are the core to adding a feel to a track. i come up with melodies straight for my head..no copying or imitating other producers..
