I have a love and hate relationship with life right now. I love my family, boyfriend and friends more than anything. I am the only child but have a tight bond with my extended family and wouldn't want it any other way. My parents are the most caring and optimistic people Ive met. My boyfriend, Shane, and I have been together for 3 years. Although it has been a struggle at times with him being in the military and gone frequently I believe that distance does make the heart grow fonder and makes me believe we can make it through anything! As for my friends...(non blood sisters!) I have no idea what my life would be like without their friendship! What I hate is that the most important people in my life I have had to put on hold for the most part to try to get ahead in life instead of one day ahead and the next behind. But I am hoping that once I get what I need to get accomplished and be able to take them off hold they will have stuck around, because without them I would not be who I am today. I have been a cna for almost 8yrs now and have been working at the Kansas Spine Hospital for 3yrs. Although I love the people I work with and the fact that I am helping people everyday, I hate the fact that I have yet to get a degree and feel it is finally time to move forward. I am planning to start back to school within the next year. Shane and I bought a house in Derby last year. Although we have yet to fill it and it is a lot more work than we expected, it is amazing to finally have a place to be able to fit all the family and friends in anytime we want. I have a little girl, Kenzie, she is going to be 7 this year! Even though it was a very hard decision to make and have to remind myself everyday she is better off, I decided it would be best to give her up for an open adoption. We have two huskies, Kyra and Jenna who we treat like they are our kids! As for me, I can be a little confusing to most people who don't know me very well. I tend to have a wall around me and can be kinda shy, which people just assume makes you a bitch (and I am honestly not) For the people who know me the best, probably wish I would just shut up. I'm indecisive, I believe love conquers all, I absolutely hate liars which tends to make me a little blunt, and I cant stay out of peoples business if it concerns treating someone I love like crap. Other than that I just try to make the most out of life and take it one day at a time. Anything else you want to know just ask.
Who I'd like to meet:
Just a little food for thought " Maybe God wanted us to meet the wrong people before meeting the right ones, so that when we finally meet them, we will know how to be grateful for the gift. Maybe when the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversations you've ever had. Maybe it is true that we don't know what we got until we lose it, but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart;but if it does not, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hr to like someone and a day to love someone, but it takes a life time to forget someone. Don't go for looks, they can deceive, don't go for wealth even that fades. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find people that make your heart smile. There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do. May you have enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy. Always put yourself in others shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person too. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything but they make the most of everything that comes their way. happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past. you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
