I've been working in the game industry since 1996. Prior to founding Media Sunshine in 2005, I held various production roles at Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Activision, and New Line Cinema. During my ten years in the game industry, I've worked on over thirty games, including Vigilante 8, Dark Reign, Heavy Gear II, and numerous titles in the Ghost Recon series.
I'm the author of The Game Production Handbook, and my articles on game development have been published in The Project Manager's Desk Reference, 3rd Ed., and Secrets of the Game Business. In addition, I lecture on game development and I've been a speaker at the Game Developers Conference, NC State University, and other venues. I graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University and received an M.A. from the USC School of Cinema-Television. My 2004 book, The Game Localization Handbook, was a nominee for the Game Developer Front Line Awards.
