About Barry Jay

Born In County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Barry's Passion for music was very clear from a young age but it wasn't until the mid ninties that he was first introduced to Dance music, After listening to the likes of Chicne, Paul Oakenfold, Bt and Paul Van Dyk Barry Fell in love with trance and got his first set of turntables at the age of 15.

After many years of djing up and down the country Barry decided that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his influences and began learning to produce his own tracks. After 4 years of hard work and determination Barry got his first big break when Eddie Halliwell played Barry's track ''Accelerate'' on BBC Radio one and from that moment things went from strength to strength. As barry churned out the tracks the support came rolling in from the likes of Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Matt Darey, Dave Pearce and many more.

Barry now owns his own label ''infexious recordings'' and also regularly provides tracks and remixes for Paul Oakenfold's legendary Perfecto records.
