About me:

Well damn, found once more. I'm all over the internet, mostly because of a need to have a single identity. The days of things like Open ID are a ways off, and it's really nice to keep the "Jakobo" population down.

The name's Jakob, the o happened some time in 2001 or so courtesy of giving piggyback rides to a friend who was playing far too much Final Fantasy 6 at the time. Jakob + Chocobo. I can tolerate "jack-oh-bo", but never "joke-oh-bo"; a distinct lack of O's in my first syllable make it a bit rougher.

I keep a website over at felocity.org which is where I get all Tech-like and talk about programming, web design, and the things that would usually bore most people to tears. I think I've met maybe 3 people in life with a genuine interest in tackling scalability problems with data access times in MySQL. Sorry if that just put you to sleep. Let's move on to the more interesting things.

LJ is a bit of the exception, I tend to keep that one private. Even those on my friendslist see something once maybe every 2 months. Nevertheless, it's there and it has a pretty picture of a bullet going through a rose.

Myspace is fair game. I just sort of babble anyway. Open book of friending goodness. Warning: I hardly check it. XD flickr is pretty open, though usually I just use it to comment on photos I like. DA is just when I find pretty art or know someone and they offhand mention DA. Gaia is as Gaia does, and LJ is very closed in. If you want to give it a whirl, go for the adding, and just know I don't always check everything and it could be a long while before it occurs to me to go look at friend related things. =]
Who I'd like to meet:
People of course. Else I wouldn't have thrown myself at the mercy of all those sites up there. ^_^ I meet interesting people through everything I do, and I guess all these sites remind me of when I used to meet people doing Ayenee style RP in Yahoo! Chat.

Some of the best things in life are those that make no sense at all. Like when you accidentally overhear a bit of conversation and all you have to go on is, "He only does THAT with potatoes." Or, "I just squeezed one day and bubbles came out."

And it doesn't matter that the person was talking about vegetable sculpting, or a bottle of dishwasher soap, because once you hear it, you know that you'll be laughing your butt off for the rest of the day at least.
