Kort's Interests
General
Music, MACs, Photography (especially infrared), Art, Nature, Spirituality, Movies, Technology, Automobiles, Food, etc... And my family of course.
Music
From classic rock (Floyd) to modern prog rock (Porcupine Tree), and from (old) New Wave (Depeche Mode) to modern electro (Shpongle, etc). Throw in a dash of classical music and we're good.
Movies
Just about any movie except fluffy comedies, and even them if you catch me in the right mood.
Television
Sci-Fi, Drama, History, Science, Adult Cartoons.
And during hurricane season, the Weather Channel. ;'D
Books
Mostly novels of all genres, but anything that is a good read and that I get something out of will do. I'm reading a lot of historical fiction right now.
Heroes
That guy that wears the hat...you know who I mean, the brown one? Yeah, that's the guy! =^]
Seriously, there are a lot of people out there who are hero's, from the scientists working on cures for a disease to the baggers at the checkout line of the grocery store. Just don't choose the wrong heros, like Paris Hilton or Kevin Federline.

Who I'd like to meet: Opening minded, intelligent and interesting people. Feel free to drop me a line. If we share any of the same interests, chances are I'd like to meet you.
When posting comments, please keep the physical and KB size of any linked images down to a minimum please. I don't want to delete comments, but if they are too big or slow the page load time, I'm afraid I'm going to have to. I've been getting complaints about long load times and page hang ups and had to delete some. Thanks.
One of my photos (the dark blue and red blurry one) is currently being shown in an international photography exhibition in Virginia. Click the image below to find out more.

SUMMER TRAVEL TIP NUMBER 8. NEVER ask an airline if they have air fares CHEAPER than a one day/stand-by/third class ticket. The travel industry is in TROUBLE and you really DON'T want to take the airline's new $25 ECONOMY flight.
"Do you not know that there comes a midnight hour when every one has to throw off his mask? Do you believe that life will always let itself be mocked? Do you think you can slip away a little before midnight in order to avoid this? Or are you not terrified by it? I have seen men in real life who so long deceived others that at last their true nature could not reveal itself;... In every man there is something which to a certain degree prevents him from becoming perfectly transparent to himself; and this may be the case in so high a degree, he may be so inexplicably woven into relationships of life which extend far beyond himself that he almost cannot reveal himself. But he who cannot reveal himself cannot love, and he who cannot love is the most unhappy man of all.” ----- Soren Kierkegaard
Thank you for your reaction on Renderosity. I must admit I've been neglecting both contacts and photography, due to quite a lot of work consuming most of my time. However, photography has not been out of focus, but RR never was the same after the quake. It was a period I was shaken by friends getting hurt both at work and in my church and I got overwhelmed by the impact of these changes with high emotional weight. These days I've returned to a rather normal life albeit less artistic. At least I still post my photography at Webshots, but in no way the old community feeling of RR ever returned (kinda extirpated feeling). I hope you're doing well.
