OmniCircus Junkyard Cabaret and Robot Ensemble is a performing ensemble and film production company. It was founded in 1988 by composer-artist Frank Garvey. Our live shows integrate dark-industrial cabaret with life-sized surreal robotics and midi-controlled virtual-reality (VRpit) performers. Our movies run the gamut from music-video shorts to surreal documentaries to full-on feature length musical-drama such as our recently completed 3-hour film WALL of ASHES. OmniCircus' performing ensemble, DeusMachina, has a catalog of recordings on the Gate 6 label and the American Composer's Forum innova label.
The Robotic Ensemble of the OmniCircus is a mechanical red-light district, a troupe of mechanical beggars, hookers, junkies and street-preachers who appear in OmniCircus shows and engage in mysterious cyborg guerilla theater on the city streets.
BELOW is the MAGIC OMNICIRCUS WINDOW with an ever-growing collection of OmniCircus videos including music-videos, favorites such as our GOBOY documentary, excerpts from classic live shows, plus interviews and features stories about us from various television shows. Check back periodically as this window will grow more videos! (Click the 'menu' button and scroll to see if there is a new one.) To embed videos from the MAGIC OMNICIRCUS WINDOW in your site, get the code from the 'menu' button.
NOTE: Be sure to stop playing the song in our audio player first, or it will sound like a meth convention in a Guitar Center showroom.
