About me:
Hello, you can see my name and how old I am, and that I am a University Lecturer (sort of!). I work at Sheffield Hallam University (in the UK), yep, as a lecturer, but I don't have any students or do any teaching! - it's a research and development role. My job is (mainly) about finding new ways of using technology in teaching and learning, which involves buying gadgets, fiddling with gadgets and talking about gadgets - I'm very lucky! - it's great and I love it. I also spend time doing more academic-y stuff. Before that I spent just under six years designing websites, CD-ROMs and other educational multimedia - also at Sheffield Hallam.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time listening to music, avoiding exercise (except a token hours' football every week), and avoiding doing work on my house. During the football season, I support Huddersfield Town Football Club, who have been pretty rubbish this season but are starting to look like an outside bet for the play-offs (Hmmm... how soon until I delete this last little bit...)
