About Veronique:
Mademoiselle Veronique Marie Therese Antoinette de Chevalier (formerly Cyphyre) is reputed to be the long-lost "illegitimate"
grand daughter of Maurice Chevalier, as well as the former Etoile (Prima Ballerina Assoluta) for Les Ballets de la Salle de Bain de Paris. Her
career was tragically cut short while the company was on the Tehachapi leg of their most recent US tour, when she took an unfortunate tumble into
the orchestra pit during her solo, due to a sudden blackout, caused by a drunken cowboy shooting out the headlights of the pickup truck that served
as the stage lighting.
After she came to, some weeks later, she had lost all memory of ever having danced, as well as having also forgotten
her native French tongue. She can now only speak in - what is considered by all who hear it - her own charming version of accented English.
She has gone on to write, produce and lend her vocalization to an "info-tainment" benefit project- a theatrical show and recording-
called Cabaret4Choice. This recording garnered Mlle. Veronique the Unanimous Choice Award for
Best Independent Cabaret Artist at the 14th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
Noticing a severe shortage of culturally-uplifting entertainmant in the City of the Angels has given Mlle. Veronique a new mission in life,
and thus is born the Red Velvet Variety Show!
Veronique is also the Founder & CEO of "Cyphyre Music, LLC", which is the presenter of "Veronique's Red Velvet Variety Show".

About Veronique's Red Velvet Vaudeville Variety Show- VRVVVS
Hosted by namesake
Veronique Chevalier, award-winning Cabaret Artiste, this 21st Century Vaudeville presentation is aptly named, for both are indeed "Very Unique."
Drawing upon her French heritage, and giving the proceedings a sexy and playful twist, Mademoiselle V, engages and attracts the finest novelty acts to her stage.
In a world of cookie cutter clones, the talents who align themselves with her dazzling production, are each glittering gems of individuality. Consummate showmanship, razzmatazz and worldliness that is out-of-this world are earmarks of the show.
Think "Cabaret" meets "Cirque de Soleil" with a side of "Gypsy Rose Lee". This is upbeat after-hours entertainment that engages the brain
yet titilates enough to feel a teensy bit forbidden and just a tad taboo.
"By turns Ooh La La! and laugh-out-loud!"

Our Vaudeville Ensemble Going on Tour in 2007!
What: An ever-evolving ensemble of diverse talent formatted as a variety show- A 21st Century vaudevillian, theatrical performance, with interconnection between each act, hosted by Veronique as the Mistress of Ceremonies (NOT to be confused with a showcase).
Why: Because entertainment has become a barren wasteland of corporate clone wanna-be's, and true artistry born of TALENT has been forsaken and formulaic expediency has taken its place.
Just so you understand what is meant, the word: TALENT- "A marked innate ability, as for artistic accomplishment; a natural endowment, or ability of a superior quality."
What for: For effective cross-promotion of the finest culture. Participating artists are welcome to distribute their personal promotional materials at the shows, as well as to sell their goods (Sound recordings; Works of Art; Books; Merchandise, etc.).
Who: Solo artists or small ensembles from these disciplines are welcome, and the more removed from the mainstream ideal, the better, however TALENT is a must. If you have been invited, you more-than qualify. If you wish to be invited, you must be able to demonstrate your accomplishment. This is about Quality, not Quantity- Talent, not Mediocrity:
How to Apply as Talent: Contact us via this web site, and you will be given specific application guidelines.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: A "Variety Show" consists of pre-existing acts. That means if you wish to be considered, you must already have your own number worked out, with full costuming, music, props, etc. You must also be able to sign a release saying that you have permission to use the music, if you are using someone else's musical composition or sound recording in your act.
Remuneration: Performers will be paid with a portion of proceeds from ticket sales. This is definitely NOT pay-to-play!
Set length: Artists will each have about 10 to 20 minutes of stage time. (Subject to prior approval).
What else: Email Mademoiselle V with your questions, and check back frequently as, this section will be expanded with each new development.
Email: RedVelvetVarietyShow@[NOspam]gmail.com (Remove the [NOspam] before sending).

President Coolidge sent me a telegram this week, saying he is a fan of mine. I love Silent Cal!
