i once had a dream roller skating (old skool) with keith jarrett. I asked him to go around the block one more time he sort of nodded and walked into his house but never came out again. Ever since then i think that the question of influences is an aspect of convenience.
Adam Daudrich is a pianist and composer living in Montreal, Canada.
Originally from Ottawa, Adam has collaborated with Bruno Tocanne's band "Trio Resistances" who have been featured twice in Montreal's OFFjazz festival, and make up the rhythm section of Adam's debut Quintet album: "ANiMOts" recorded in France with a tour the fall of 2007.
Adam is a member of the Mike Essoudry Octet on his debute Cd "Passage" with followup performances at the National Arts Centre.
He has also worked at the SHINE MUSIC FOUNDATION located in Ottawa, developing the music scene, and has recorded with The Zakari Frantz Quartet, and Richard Page Quartet.
Having found his place in Montreal, Adam is developing his own trio, focusing on group sound and the re-invention of popular songs.
Every tuesday night, he can be found playing at Dieze Onze Jazz club at St Denis/Rachel with the Alex Bellegarde Trio + guest.
