aloe vera! project is the art work of the DJ, producer, and
bassist Alejando V. Born in Barcelona in 1984, he began his
musical career as a teenager, deejaying in several bars and
clubs in his hometown. In 2005, he started to be interested in
musical production when he started playing the bass and
writing his own songs. In January 2008, the first aloe vera!
project album was released. "Moody Effect" is a selected 5
tracks EP that reflects emocional landscapes, histories with lots of crossings and the research of the musical evolution throught the human mood. Based on the the downtempo groove philosophy, the 70's existencialist rock (Krautrock,Cold Wave) and the IDM artificial experimental sound, is mostly the color of aloe vera! project productions. Presently he still works in his studio along other projects like THE BERNIEST, and is still deejing in different events where he mixes all time culture references with full-energized electro beats.
aloe vera! project es el proyecto artístico del deejay, productor y bajista Alejandro V. Nacido en 1984 en Barcelona, empezó su carrera musical siendo un adolescente con sus primeras sesiones en diferentes bares y clubs de la ciudad condal. En 2005 comenzó su interés por la producción musical, junto a sus primeras composiciones y su iniciación como bajista.
Enero del 2008, es el lanzamiento del primer album de aloe vera! project “Moody Effect”, producido y editado por el mismo artista, se trata de un E.P de 5 selectos temas donde se reflejan diferentes paisajes emocionales, historias de encuentros y desencuentros y en definitiva una búsqueda de la evolución musical a través de diferentes estados de ánimo. Con base en el imperante groove de la filosofia downtempo, la influencia artística del rock existencialista de los 70 (Krautrock, Cold Wave) y la experimentación sonora más vanguardista de la electrónica IDM son algunas de las notas que definen el color de sus producciones. Actualmente sigue trabajando en su estudio junto con otros proyectos como THE BERNIEST, y continua entregado a las pistas de baile con su electro energético lleno de referencias.

Yo aloe vera! projectasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them.
