A brief history about Thomas Carson:
Tuesday morning, Thomas was woken up to a call telling him he had leukemia. Wednesday we went to Massey Cancer Center expecting tests or to schedule tests. It didn't go quite like that and Thomas was admitted to MCV that day.
Thomas' diagnosis is Mixed Lineage Acute Leukemia aka Biphenotypic Acute Leukemia. That basically means Thomas has 2 leukemias, ALL and AML. It's very rare, but Massey Cancer at MCV is one of the best facilities and we are so lucky to be so close!
Thomas was hospitalized at MCV from April 22 to May 11 for intensive induction chemotherapy.
He is currently continuing chemotherapy (6 to 8 more months) and then when a full remission is achieved the plan is for Thomas to undergo a bone marrow transplant.

The very first competition for the feminine lesbian community in this century at The Park in beautiful Roanoke, VA...The Star City of The South!!! Are you a Grand Diva, because this is a Lipstick Lesbian competition and the MOST GLAMOROUS of the United States contests, because it’s for the biological woman who identifies as being solely lesbian. Are you from Roanoke, the surrounding area, Virginia or another state, then you must BRING IT to Roanoke and let’s see who the sexiest feminine woman will be!!! [Depending on the number of contestants at registration, there will be pre-judging for both Executive Independence Wear and Creative Formal Evening Wear will be scheduled at 7:30 p.m.] Registration is held at 2:00 p.m.(Be PROMPT, please!) upstairs at The Park, where you can meet your Judges and the other contestants.
Business Interview -5 to 7 minute interview with the Judges to explain WHO YOU ARE and why you want to be The Star City’s very first Miss Femme Fatale!! What can you do to further this contest in the future and promote lipstick lesbian power? Interview will be held downstairs at 3:0
