BDO nasce nel novembre del 1987 da un gruppo di studenti diciassettenni incazzati e spinti dall'esigenza di uno spazio, un momento per urlare la propria rabbia e il proprio dissenso...buttare fuori il proprio "ODIO". Nati per essere veloci, ubriachi di Raw Power, Wretched, Big Black, Kina, No Means No, D.R.I., Discharge, C.C.M., I Refuse It, la band nasce come progetto politico, legando a doppio filo il proprio agire a pratiche quali l'autoproduzione e l’autodistribuzione di materiali audio-video-cartacei, l'OCCUPAZIONE e l’AUTOGESTIONE di spazi abbandonati.
Nel 1989 i BDO, registrano il loro primo ed unico demo, accompagnato da un booklet contenente la summa del pensiero della band. Ne vanno via 500 copie e arrivano un po' di concerti e proposte per compilation autoprodotte. Intanto il suono della band diviene sempre più chiuso e claustrofobico... I cambi di formazione pressocché continui caratterizzano la storia di questa esperienza che fra alterne vicende arriva al 1993 e si esaurisce.
Nel 1995 il cantante/fondatore della band, stimolato dall'incontro con giovani musicisti della fiorente (all'epoca lo era) scena casertana, ritrova il filo di un ragionamento prematuramente interrotto e così i BDO riprendono vita. La line up é tutta nuova, i brani riarrangiati secondo una visione sempre più buia e nervosa. Riprendono i concerti e nel 1997 viene registrato “Nausea Quotidiana”, brano di fine anni 80, per una compilation antimilitarista e come antipasto per il disco che sarebbe dovuta nascere da li a pochi mesi... Ma la band si scioglie di nuovo e ognuno prende vie diverse da quella battuta con i BDO.
Sembra tutto finito, ma un fuoco coverà sotto la cenere fino all'estate 2003 quando la band decide di ritrovarsi per una session e l'idea di riprendere quel disco mai registrato. Con 3/5 dell'ultima formazione e l'innesto di un nuovo batterista e un nuovo chitarrista la band riparte e la cosa funziona, riprendono i concerti e alla fine del 2004 iniziano a registrare il disco... Nel novembre 2005 la band festeggia i 18 anni di vita.
Negli anni i BDO hanno incrociato il palco con: No Means No, Kina, Raw Power, Dirteeze, Zu, Contropotere, Pak, Removal, Contrasto, NIA Punx, Crash Box, Fall Out...
...E così la nostra piccola storia continua, nel 2007 esce ANTI-PASTO ep di tre brani che raccoglie quel che resta dell'ennesimo disco progettato e mai portato a termine! così dopo 22 anni di trasformazioni e di scazzi, riflessioni e sintesi, senza mai fretta e senza mai mediare con quello ke ci piace esprimere.

Album live frutto di una cooproduzione fra tanti soggetti diversi uniti in un progetto: nosiae, no copyright, ovviamente a prezzo politico.
In questi lunghi anni comonque qualkuno ci ha lasciato e qualkuno si è aggregato, oggi siamo sereni, non ci sentiamo e non vogliamo essere cariatidi, troppo da vedere, troppo da sperimentare e troppo da urlare.
Al di la della morale e dei canoni di ciò ke è giusto, riscoprendo giorno per giorno quella sana forma di ODIO ke ci permette di dire NO in un mondo in cui i facili SI e i sentimenti di stato sembrano dover rappresentare il binario unico di ogni singolo percorso umano.
BDO were born in November 1987 from a group of angry seventeen years old students, motivated by the urge of a space, a moment to shout our own rage and our own dissent… to put out our own “ODIO” (hate). Born to be fast, drunk on Raw Power, Wretched, Big Black, Kina, No Means No, DRI, Discharge, CCM, I Refuse It etc. etc., the band was born as a politic project, closely tying their actions to practices like the self-production and the self-distribution of audio-video-paper material, the squatting of abandoned spaces.
In 1989 BDO record their first and only demotape, with a booklet containing the band’s thought. With 500 copies distributed, the band make some gigs and receive some proposals for self-produced compilations. Meanwhile, the sound of the band becomes more dark and claustrophobic… The almost continuous line-up changes characterize the story of this experience, which comes to an end in 1993.
In 1995 the singer/founder of the band, encouraged by the meeting of young musicians of the growing scene of those years, finds again the thread of a prematurely interrupted experience, so BDO come back to life. The line-up is entirely new and the songs are rearranged according to a darker and more nervous vision. The band start over, perform some concerts and in 1997 record “Nausea Quotidiana”, late-80’s song, for an anti-military compilation and as “antipasto” for the upcoming record… Unfortunately, the band split up again and everyone takes different ways from the one beaten with BDO.
Everything seems to be over, but there’s still some fire under the ash and in summer 2003 the band decide for a reunion, with the idea of making that record. With 3/5 of the last line-up and new drummer and guitar player, the band make a fresh start and the thing works fine. The band perform new concerts and starts the recording session in the end of 2004.
In November 2005 BDO celebrate their 18 years of life. During these years, BDO have shared the stage with NoMeansNo, Pak, Zu, Removal, Kina, Raw Power, Contropotere, Dirteeze, Contrasto, NIA Punx, Crash Box, Fall Out etc… and so our little story goes on.
