I was born in Wales and have lived there most of my life but have recently relocated to Tenerife. I'm eclectic, eccentric and energetic! I'm a singer/songwriter, poet, author, freelance writer, actor, compere and a lot more! I have played & compered Glastonbury Festival and I have songs released on Crai Records. I am also a member of a Druid order, the Loyal Arthurian Warband. I am currently writing features for Tenerife News (paper) and Living Tenerife magazine. I am also very interested in nature and conservation, as well as being interested in the paranormal, UFOs, alernative history and conspiracies.
I have my main music site here:
www.soundclick.com/bardofely
And here is what the incredible Laura wrote about me:
Words can barely describe the amazing, multi-talented, multi-faceted and multi-media phenomenon that is the Bard of Ely!!! Part eco-warrior, poet, Arthurian Druid, master of herblore, techno-folk fusion pioneer, MC, songwriter, singer, actor, writer and performer, the Bard has assumed cult status and is featured in many counter-culture books and articles ... a genuine iconic figure! Something else that distinguishes this talented artist is his enthusiastic and positive support for music and musicians, and his friendly, universally-respected presence across the online music community. We are proud to know him -Steve, the Bard of Ely!!!

..

Who I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants to be my friend, like-minded spirits and music contacts! Warrior souls, people who are outside the box, conspiracy factists and theorists, UFO exeriencers, permaculturists, indigos, truthseekers and wanderers especially welcomed!

Hey, I recorded a new song a few days ago, it's called Masquerade--based on the ballroom scene of Romeo and Juliet. Just wanted to stop by and let you know, it's a *free* download on my page (on the left side, right above my Twitter and Facebook boxes.) I hope you enjoy it; if you do, please pass it on to your friends and help me spread the love :)
