I left this blank for ages because I have a plethora of favourites. Henry Rollins has since assured me that in fact, it makes me look stupid. All time favourites include Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides, The Crow Road by Iain Banks and most of Christopher Brookmyre's works. My early dabblings with Jeffrey Archer and Catherine Cookson can be explained by poor parenting and extreme boredom.
