Hailing from Canton, Ohio "Beyond the Rage" is on the rise and ready to take the music scene by storm. BTR is a metal band that combines inspirational lyrics, blazing guitar riffs, thunderous bass runs, and huge driving percussions. BTR states: "Through our music we want to challenge a generation to start focusing on God's purpose for their lives".
Beyond the Rage was formed by former Broken 3418 members Bill Yarbrough and Bob Pickens. Yarbs and Pickens decided to gamble and shelf twenty Broken 3418 originals and start over with Beyond the Rage. It looks like that gamble could pay off! With the addition of Bret Sanor (Lead guitar) and Randy Hoover (Drums) the line up appears to be destined for something big. The new addition of Hoover brings BTR the hard hitting drummer they have so desperately needed. With melodic runs and a twist of funk Hoover drives the unique BTR sound and keeps crowds banging their heads. Sanor, a long time friend always astonishes everyone in attendance with his playing! With Sanor BTR has an amazing blend of big metal riffs, blazing solo's, and a talent that must be seen live to believe. BTR is rounded out by Yarbrough's aggressive melodic vocal style and Pickens big bass runs and melodic chops. With this line up you have the recipe for a unique Metal band that you won't soon forget.
The guys of BTR feel 2009 promises to be a huge year. They couldn't have started any bigger. In just their third show as a band they played the main stage at the Alive festival and haven't looked back since! Pickens states: "We just feel very blessed, it's very rare to get four guys that are close and also gel so well musically". "It's has truly been a blessing and awakening for all of us".
BTR is done writing material for their upcoming full length CD and is now just fine tuning the tracks and saving to finish recording. For those of you that have seen BTR live you already know that this CD is going to be a must have! If you haven't seen BTR live get out to a show soon and see what “Rage Style” is all about. BTR states; "Get ready cause we're focused and very determined"!

Whats the Cali Blood????? Im happy 4 u guys!!!! I think about u and what u guys did for me alot!!!! Im actually doing soooooooooooooo much better right now my doctor has me on a new experimental drug and for me its working!!! Im having 1 or 2 seizures every 1 1/2 months instead of a couple seizures every 3 days!!!!!! God is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!! Miss u!!!!!!!
