Hailing from Canton, Ohio "Beyond the Rage", formerly know as Broken 3418, is on the rise and ready to take the music scene by storm again. BTR is a hard rock band that combines inspirational lyrics with melodic guitar riffs, thunderous bass runs, and big driving percussions. BTR knows it would be much easier to just rock out and play shows but they want to inspire and challenge all who hear their music to dig deeper into what is important in life. "Through our music we want to challenge a generation to start focusing on a higher purpose for their life".
Beyond the Rage" (FKA: Broken) has had a whirl wind couple of years. So many blessings have come their way. They played at Ichthus 07, Several maximum security prisons, Halftime of Canton Legons vs. Baltimore blitz pro indoor football game, and with many top Christian acts. They were also featured on TV, local and national radio, newspapers, and several magazines! They were also picked as the featured artist on a DUI awareness CD that was released nationally in 2007. After all this BTR still feels as though the best is yet to come!
So now it's summer 2008. New band name, new sound, and the addition of Mike Ruta and Bret Sanor promise to make this band continue it’s upward climb. They just resigned with Soul Joy Records out of Nashville, Tenn. and really feel at home being back with the SJ family! The guys of BTR feel 2008 promises to be a big year. They kicked off their summer by playing the main stage at the Alive festival and are now booking regional and local summer dates. They are continuing to write new material for their upcoming full length CD (the CD should be done in time for a winter release). “So get ready cause we're focused and having fun again" states Yarbs.
Beyond the Rage has played with great acts such as; Red, Pocket full of Rocks, John Rueben, Fighting Instinct, Fireflight, 7th Day Slumber, Decyfer Down, Since October, Last Tuesday, Hawk Nelson, Eleventyseven, Spoken, Praise Appella, Casting Crowns, Krystal Myers ~ We’ll almost anyways LOL, and many, many more.
