Shake It with The Bobwhites
Whether swinging and twisting behind vocalist Mike Miller, performing their original compositions for film, or playing a concert hall, The Bobwhites draw from a wide variety of musical influences and experiences.
They play songs by such varied artists as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Bill Haley, The Ventures, Beatles, Herbie Mann and even Nirvana. Each piece they play, they make their own.
The Bobwhites band members have played with diverse acts. To name just a few: The Rhomboids, Lambs Eat Ivy, O' Malley's March and Plow.
This group has played The Creative Alliance, The Walters Art Museum, The 14 Karat Cabaret, The Roots Cafe, The Black Cat Club, The 10th Night Of 100 Elvises, The Eubie Blake National Museum & Cultural Arts Center, The Club Charles, The Liriodendren in Bel Air, Maryland, The 2005 Maryland Film Festival Closing Party, The 8th Annual Mobtown Greaseball, Rams Head Live, and numerous other parties and private functions.
We also had the honor of playing at the newly renovated Hippodrome Theatre, along with O'Malley's March, being one of the first acts to grace the stage of this wonderful old theatre.
