Chopper One was started by Jason Cropper (ex weezer '93) and his wife Amy.
The band released one album; Now Playing (Restless Records - July 15th 1997)
They also released two videos: Punk named Josh and touch my fuzz. Chopper one have now broken up.
Hey! We’re coming all the way from Australia to play Japan, U.K Spain and The U.S. We’d love to see you at a show or two! Power Pop for fans of Weezer, Fountains of Wayne, Elvis Costello & Cheap Trick.
Melodic Hardcore, Emotional Hard-core and Punk Rock have gained a lot of popularity and are now largely accepted in Japan, so next should be Power pop!
The brainchild of Sara Radle (of The Rentals), Calamity Magnet melds the world of indie-pop with girl group harmonies of the sixties, adding a hint of country flavor and the occasional peek at a Beatles influence.
Now playing is one of my all time favourite records so I was really happy to find you here. Fun to see the 'Punk named Josh'-video too, hadn't seen it before.
