    Chris & Au's Interests
General One thing interests me more than anything else, is the hope that MySpace dies a horrible demise. I mean, of all social networking/blog/picture sharing websites, it is the most dysfunctional, slow, bloated piece of crap known to mankind, filled with massive amounts of anti-str8ism. Now, where was I? Ah! In addition to my graphic art projects, Chrusher and Towner, my hobbies are a treasure trove of what one would call guilty pleasures. They include racing go-karts, attending/watching Supermodified asphalt racing, playing basketball, and working out while watching San Antonio Spurs basketball and New York Jets football, where I've recorded entire seasons of both teams for over a decade now. But some of my hobbies will irritate some, including my wife, as a bit immature. I have been a huge fan of countless multi-time award-winning composer John Williams, who's world-renowned music, tireless work ethic and quiet success are such a deep inspiration for me, that I have a world-class collection of his music on CD, LP, and DVD. I have a complete collection of 1984-87 Transformers toys and DVDs, in addition to impressive collections of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, and Star Wars collectibles and action figures. I used to be a huge video game player, though I do not play as much now as I did in my teens and twenties. Last but not least, I'm a Christian. Due to the fact that I've met some people who are close-minded against my religion, I am into Judeo-Christian apologetics, and to such people, I would usually request that they listen to some of my favorite Christian apologists free radio shows because they are far wiser sages than I am. In conclusion, it should be noted that although I may disagree with other people's beliefs or lifestyles, I am tolerant of them, even if they are intolerant of mine.

Music

Composer John Williams's world-renowned music, Vince DiCola, Danny Elfman, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Grant, and to a lesser degree, James Horner, Bill Conti, and countless others. For a bigger list of my favorite film scores, check out a pretty little Amazon.com list of some of my favorites. I love, like and/or hate a little something from every single music genre. Instrumental, hard rock, 80s rock, some lite rock, some pop, some country, a little this, a littlethat... even rap (but only if it's funny). Also, I have to support my best friend RaYzor's group, Zadoc... and the Nightmare. Their new CD rocks, and they're the best band of any kind that I've heard in years!

MoviesMost of my favorite movies are listed on check out a pretty little Amazon.com list of some of my favorites. But, to list them in short here, my ultimate favorites are The Star Wars Saga as a whole (in order of liking: The Empire Strikes Back [also my favorite movie of all-time], Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, A New Hope, and Attack of the Clones) and my favorite fictional character is The Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious from the aforementioned Star Wars saga. Amongst my other favorite movies are several of John Williams' scored movies, including many of his that he scored for Spielberg, led by The Indiana Jones and the first two Jurassic Park series. Other favorite movies of mine  include Braveheart, the Rocky series, Superman , Superman II (both versions), and Superman Returns, The Fury, the darker/better Batman movies, Transformers: The Movie and G.I. Joe: The Movie, and finally along with one of my first childhood favorites, The Black Hole. I'll also throw-in Team America: World Police, and any movie with good, realistic martial arts scenes regardless of plot. For the most part though, my favorite filmmakers are George Lucas for his entire Star Wars Saga and Steven Spielberg for his better movies. I've loved every Hitchcock movie I've ever seen, so I better get seeing them all soon. As for comedies, I also love Borat and Team America: World Police. Recently, I just found Psycho and its sequels II, III, and IV. However, these are just my faves, and I can enjoy anything that entertains me without either boring me with crappiness or offending me with leftist propaganda.
Television

My favorite TV shows are The Sopranos, Homefront, WWF/WWE wrestling, and Transformers and G.I. Joe cartoons from the mid-1980s. For good philosophical debate and apologetics, I always go to Bob Enyart Live and Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. Also enjoy Bam Margera's comedy (especially when it involves Vito) and Jackass. Of course, since I'm a graphic artist/cartoonist, and I like a lot of modern animated shows, but not completely in love with any of them. Finally, in terms of laugh-out-loud comedy... can anybody really beat The Three Stooges? Their shorts are timeless.

Books

Eric Van Lustbader' s enthralling and enchanting Nicholas Linnear novels; The Ninja, The Miko, White Ninja, The Kaisho, Second Skin, & Floating City), my own comics, G.I. Joe written by Larry Hama, tons of comic books from 1988-1992, most beloved of which contain art by Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee. Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" comic strip compilations). Last but not least, The Bible and a great overview of it, The Plot by Bob Enyart.

HeroesMy hero would be the person(s) who figures out that MySpace needs to be obliterated. How? Via massive amounts of users figuring out that it is food stampage of interweb screen and all leave it at the same time. Thank you, have a nice day! :)

   Chris & Au's Blurbs
About me:
Greetings. My name is Christopher Galletta Stevens, and I am a graphic artist, cartoonist, writer and website designer, and my projects often go under the banner of ChrusherComix. I was born in May 1974 of Italian-American heritage, and I live in Upstate New York with my beautiful native Thai wife, Rungnapha (or nicknamed, Au / pronounced "Ooh?") and my family. I am a part-time florist at my family's seasonal greenhouse business, and go-kart racer while I illustrate the comics found on these websites:

My and Robert Buchanan's new children's book -

This is a website that features me, my friends, and family go-kart racing every weekend at Oswego Speedway and also behind
Galletta's Greenhouse from June-October in Oswego, NY.  We have a ton of fun, and new racers always welcome! Try racing with us or just watch. You'll love it!

The company that me and my family own and work at. If near Oswego, NY in May-July, please stop by:

Finally, I also made a webcomic site for my friend
RaYzor's comic, which is actually a spin-off of my own Chrusher comics. I also colored a good chunk of them to boot.:
The Official RaYzor Comix website

Also, please, no webcam whore spam, please. So remember, folks... whenever I get spammers, I report you as spam and/or abuse. Remain calm and die, dear sirs and maams! Also, people who remove themselves from my friends lists, are likely to be dominated in my comics. Yeah, I saw you. Yeah. Thank you.

MySpace is very anti-str8, as hi5 is the same thing but smoother, and overall better, IMO.
This is my ID there.

Who I'd like to meet:

The Composer to all of that world-renowned, memorable music playing in this player, John Williams. Also, apologists Bob Enyart and Dr. Ravi Zacharias. Their airtight apologetics are 'nuff said.

Well you see Ravi came up to Pulaski on a fishing trip and my dad was his guide, so he's sort of an acquaintance. Who is this former classmate, and why do you see him each Sunday? Ha. Good to hear from you.
