About Citizens Erased - A Tribute To Muse
CITIZENS ERASED is the UK's Number 1 MUSE Tribute Band.

Formed out of an equal measure of love for Muse and the desire for something different to that of many groups today, we set about forming a band to spread the word... MUSE.

CITIZENS ERASED live pay particular attention to both the album and live versions of the English trio’s songs and to the characteristics of the band which are well-known and appreciated all over the world. To enhance our performances, CITIZENS ERASED has undertaken an indepth study of both the scores and the how they are executed along with the variety of effects that make MUSE sound so unique.

We use an array of professional lighting effects, video projector show and fog machine to further enhance the visual experience of our show.

Our line up was finally completed in 2008 when Dave, a formidable bassist whose technical prowess allows him to play the slick driving riffs of Chris Wolstenholme joined the band. Drummer Bob provides the unusual timed beats of Dominic Howard, meanwhile the role of Matt Bellamy is shared between the other 3 members of the band. Keith provides the operatic vocals of the genius frontman while on the keys, Jane provides the ethereal piano, synth and other signature sounds of MUSE. On guitar is Martin with his array of effects pedals and versatile playing style completing a tribute band certain to be a hit with today’s MUSE fans.

All members of the band are competent musicians in their own right and have a number of years experience in the industry. Bob has played in the Who tribute band 'The Whodlums' and also with vocalist Keith where they both were in a Classic Rock covers act 'Bad Penny'. Dave played bass for 'Preacher' for many years; whilst Martin and Jane were previously in originals band 'Skelter'.

You have got to be a little mad (some would say insane) about music to take on a project like this. MUSE are arguably the most layered and complex definers of a unique modern progressive rock sound. So recreating a MUSE experience is a big challenge - and I guess in a nutshell there it is.

What can I say…. simply amazing!!!!

As a massive Muse fan a mate told me about you playing at his local, The Hollymere on Sat 28th. Cancelled a night out with our lass to come to gig and I certainly was not disappointed. Great musicians, great sound.

You do not hear music as good as this often in pub.

Keep me posted on gigs around Sunderland area, or even further a field, I will definitely travel quite a way to see music like this again.

Cheers
