Their founder, Spyros Giasafakis, is the first artist worldwide to compose andperform improvisations on ancient Greek instruments, such as Kithara, Lyra andVarvitos, handcrafted with design and materials authentic to their epoch.

Currently based in the UK,the group has released music on labels of several nationalities (Germany, Italy), mostprominently on a long established French record company specializing in worldmusic (Prikosnovenie records).

They have performed and toured in Austria, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria,Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Portugal, Cyprus and Greece.

Their presentations are also portrayed on film, such as televisiondocumentaries, short films (Life in Five Acts) and DVD productions (Treasuresof Athens and Olympia/Channel Five).

They have collaborated with international musicians such as as Peter Ulrich (ex Dead CanDance), Dessislava Stefanova (London Bulgarian Choir), Psarantonis, Louisa JohnKrol, Dimitra Galani and many others.

Several compilations by European and International labels include songs byDaemonia Nymphe which appeared along with tracks by artists

such us Lisa Gerrard, Loreena McKennitt, Low, Ladytron and many others.

They have composed and performed music for many theatre productions.
