We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."



My name is Dashama Konah. This name was created by my mother, who was divinely inspired. It means "The Sacred Friend". It is also the name of a Hindu Goddess, Goddess Dashama is the Destroyer of Adversity.

I am a lover of life. Lover of experiences. Interested in learning everything. Constantly growing in all areas. God/ Jah/ The Creator of all- blesses me continuously. Karma proves itself to me time and again. People never cease to amaze me~ I love to travel... anywhere and everywhere. I love meeting new people and learning about their lifestyles. Some of the most memorable experiences have occurred when I was traveling this path by myself; it seems that when we are solo, we can truly be who we want to be and go with the flow.

On the other hand-I love to be around people! I have friends all over the world and am always open to welcoming new people into the conversation that we call life... I've always practiced yoga, since I was a young child. Yoga has been an integral aspect of my life, bringing me to a place that I can find peace in a hectic world and I can be discerning in regards to what I want from this life and what I am here to do...

I've discovered that people come and go from our lives at exactly the moment that is necessary. We learn what we can and become stronger, better individuals because of each other.

I've learned that we are all one, with the universe, and that we create the walls that seperate us and keep us from experiencing love all of the time. In my life, physical health and activity play as much a role as the mental and the spiritual aspects. A balanced life is the only way to live. When one area grows weak, we feel this and it affects everyone around us as well. This is the cause of much of our society's disenchantment with every day life.
