I like playing any type of sport (preferably tennis mostly), hanging out with friends, watching movies or anime, playing video games, going for walks around the lakes here, or hitting up a bar with my buds.

I like everything from heavy metal like Sevendust, to punk like MXPX and Green Day, to classical music like Beethoven. I can take country in small doses and I absolutely hate death metal and hardcore rap. If I want to hear noise, I'll go set up my lawn chair next to the interstate thank you. At the bottom are some videos from some of my favorite bands posted by other members.
Movies
I'm a typical guy. I love action movies and geek flicks (like Lord of the Rings). I also don't mind the occasional sappy movie (like Love Actually and Wimbledon), but I have to be in the mood. Go ahead and rib me about it, because again I could give a rat's ass about what you think of me ;). It comes down to the fact that I pretty much watch anything, but I stay away from realistic horror flicks; I admit openly that some just bother me. Currently I'm into anything foreign that's from Asia (i.e. anime, kurosawa films, etc).

Television
I don't watch TV much. I find most shows now are crap, and are spinning bad messages. That and I prefer not to watch garbage. I will watch the news, "Boston Legal", and "Lost" when I'm home though.
Books
Anything R.A. Salvatore does. His Forgotten Realms books are addictive and spark the intuitive and creative parts of the reader's brain. I find books that aren't intellectually stimulating as boring and not worth reading. Especially since adults get less and less free time as we get older after all.
Heroes
I don't really have a hero. The closest thing would probably be my mother. Why do you ask? Well considering she was put through 4 years of divorce hell and still raised my brother, sister, and I well, that pretty much takes the cake. I also have people that I greatly respect, like Kevin Garnett, John Randle, and Kevin Sorbo.
Anyone in the public eye that can still put up a great image as a role model for younger kids, has my respect. I've also met all three and have talked to them for a good period of time (I sold KS a printer and didn't even realize it was him until the end; duh I'm a dumbass LOL). They are pretty cool guys in my book, and are pretty humble too. It's nice to see that not all celebrities are impersonable pricks with inflated egos.

About me: I'm just about as laid back and easy going as they come. Those that know me would say I'm one of the most random and goofy people they know, but they seem to like being around me for some reason :p. In fact, I take pride in the fact that I've got a great sense of humor, as well as the intellectual capacity to have good conversations and make witty combacks. To offset that other side of me, I love playing or watching sports, going out to bars or clubs, hanging out with my friends, and spending time at the many lakes here and such.
I've traveled to many parts of the world and I don't plan ..ping there. So far I have been to Australia, Japan, and Italy (where our St. Thomas choir sang at midnight mass in St. Peter's (Vatican)). I plan on going to Thailand, China, Scotland, and Ireland also.
