The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) is a non-profit organization, and collaborative movement committed to building a stronger and more diverse live music economy in greater Des Moines.

National headliners will converge with top local and regional acts at 80/35 on July 4th and 5th in downtown Des Moines' Western Gateway Park. 10 of the 40 + acts were announced on April 15.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets go on sale Friday, April 18 for the discounted price of $40 for a two-day pass at IowaTix.com.
Each month the DMMC helps promote a local show at venues across the Des Moines metro. Hitting different venues and multiple genres, Concert Corps hopes to get more people out to shows to support local musicians and venues. So far, we've been to House of Bricks, Shooter's Hideaway, Vaudeville Mews, and Grand Piano Bistro. Stay tuned for the May Concert Corps.
Music University (MU) is a FREE music business education series designed to provide artists and industry professionals advice on making a living through music in Central Iowa. Local and regional experts lead panel discussions covering a wide variety of topics of interest to anyone trying to move ahead in the music industry. MU is organized by the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition and the Metro Arts Alliance. Stay tune for the next panel.
