I am also a big Ed Wood fan. His movies broke ground in the absurd and poor taste realm, but he followed his dream, doing what He felt was the right thing to do, regardless of what anyone else thought. Okay, maybe he was always Wrong, but he did things 'His' way, and people still watch his films.
Television
Battlestar Galactica and reruns of Farscape, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly
The Ultimate Fighter, Dexter, Weeds, Californication
Books
Favorite Authors: H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Terry Brooks, George R.R. Martin, among others.
Heroes
Irving Klaw, for having the foresight and courage to work against the Puritanical morals system during the 1950s and bring us, among other great talents, Bettie Page and everything she has shared with us these past fifty years.
Vaughn Bode, for starting the art revolutoin during the early 1970s, but sadly, leaving us before he had a chance to see what his genius spawned. See for yourself at www.vaughnbode.com
Joseph Michael Linsner, for his amazing contribution to the world of art with, among other things, DAWN, along with all of her beauty and adventures.
Ed Wood, for having the courage of his convictions and the guts to continue following his dreams in the face of Such adversity. His films are still being watched, and his name is still remembered--what more could any artist want?
