Sou compositora e toco violão e piano. A música entrou em minha vida aos cinco anos de idade, quando minha irmã mais velha tinha aulas de acordeon. Depois que as aulas dela terminavam eu me transformava em sanfoneira, tocando o instrumento de cento e vinte baixos, de ouvido, mas cheia de alegre inspiração!
Comecei a compor aos doze e não parei mais.
Sou artista plástica, artesã e autora de um baralho místico, chamado O Baralho da Maria Padilha.
Em 1980 fui contratada pela Polygrand (hoje Universal), como cantora e compositora, tendo Roberto Menescal e Heleno de Oliveira como os responsáveis por minha contratação.
De lá para cá rolaram muitos shows, muita inspiração e muita estrada.
Ah, como essa coisa é tão bonita, ser cantora ser artista, isso tudo é muito bom!
