4歳から14歳までを海外で過ごし、洋楽に目覚めると同時に日本を始めとしたアジアの音楽に触れる。帰国後、作詞・作曲を始め、インディーズバンドのヴォーカリストとして数々のライブ活動を行う。その後、m-floの☆Taku Takahashiが開催したオーディションで優勝し、2002年、シングル「Magic/World」でデビューを果たす。その後、シングル３枚、アルバム『Dramatiques』をリリース。　また、SOUL'd OUT、TERIYAKI BOYZ(R)の作品参加の他、m-flo楽曲では Lovesアーティストとして楽曲や全国ツアーに参加、m-floファミリーの一員としても活躍する。 2007年、Venus-B/KING RECORDSに移籍。日々新たな日之内エミの魅力を発信し続けている。
