About me: My current work meshes the ancient technique of encaustic with varied objects and figures to create images that I find striking, both emotionally and intellectually.
I incorporate drawing, photography and printmaking into my work without extensive preplanning or consideration for the process. While I try to work with the highest quality materials, little thought of the finished work is given prior to beginning a project. I have learned to expect changing environments in my life and find that this perspective translates well when paying tribute to process and creation.
I expect my work to continually progress on its own merits as I evolve personally and professionally. As an artist, my manipulation of images and medium should in no way be construed as a means to influence responses or reactions in the viewer. Whether or not my creations communicate my bond with my art is not paramount, yet I do find satisfaction in knowing that others find a personal connection to my work.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who can feel or see something and then create it. It is an amazing talent to possess. I know from experience what it is like to have this and push it aside. After struggling with this myself, it pains me to see others doing the same.

Thank you! I love all of your work especially Untitled I and II. I am of course drawn to Untitled (Marilyn) I would be honored to hang any of your pieces in my house. I miss you!
Thank you. The summer is very hectic getting plans together! Very crazy. Haven't seen you in forever but we will see you at the ceremony in Sept. Invitations will be in at end of this month.
I keep in touch with quite a few of our classmates. Glad to hear things are going well for you there. I'm glad you're able to be involved with art. You were always good at that. That is one thing I really suck at.
I am a CPA and have been consulting for the last ten years. I have a son who will be a junior in high school in the fall. He is interested in football, baseball, and girls.
I was trying to convey that my head was going to blow up. Certainly, I am not the artist that you are. We were goofing around one day at the company I consult for. We had just completed a tough project and that's how the picture came about.
