I write and play songs from the heart. I've been doing this since I was 14. I will succeed in a music career. I love God and my family more than anything and through my music you will hear that. I'm 23 years old and God has blessed me with a gift to share to all. Thanks for listening!

Pushing on: a term describing the forward struggle towards excellence that the passionate face as they continue their quest.
This phrase describes perfectly the everyday life of talented singer/songwriter Evan Felts. His future existence was given clarity at the age of 14, with a simple gift; a guitar from his father. The instrument soon became a part of his soul, allowing him to craft a way of expression that many are unable to achieve. Starting out playing cover songs, he soon realized that the music he truly needed to play, was inside of himself, and not the pages of songwriters past. Crafting songs of love, life, and hardships, his journey was just beginning.
After finishing high school, Evan left his home in the bayou country of Louisiana, and arrived at the Berklee College of Music. Along with 9 others, he won an intense songwriting competition. After leaving Berklee, due to financial hardships, Evan threw everything into his music. Baring his heart and soul for everyone to hear, Evan has crafted songs that touch the places inside that we didn't know existed. His lyrical intensity weaves its way through the struggles and tribulation from his troubled youth, and the complete devastation of losing his only sister, to themes that even the most mature and sound adults are not able to comprehend. Being influenced by artists who, in his words, "write and play from the heart," Evan has learned to follow their lead, pouring out his passion and emotion, into each intensely crafted song.
The future has become even brighter for this talented young artist. He recently put the finishing touches on his six song EP "Pushing On," a journey of struggle through love, pain, and life. Arriving in Austin, TX, Evan Felts is quickly establishing himself as one of the most endearing and talented artists around. One only needs to see, to believe.
