I was born on February 21, 1978 in Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. I am the second to the youngest sibling starting with, Douglas Jr., Paul, Troy, Carlette, Lakeisha, and Lamarkus.
I do not remember having any special abilities or interests during childhood but I did like composing music. Throughout my life, I have been involved in numerous music events: composition, performance, and production.
I grew up surrounded by family and friends. With my grandmother's encouragement, I became active in music composition and production. I spent the enjoyable summers of my middle and high school years with family members of whom I had not seen throughout the school year. I was always surrounded with physical and mental activity to keep me occupied, or to keep me out of trouble. Growing up, I recall hearing wise sayings like “an idle mind is the devils workshop,” this type of rearing encouraged and helped me build a solid moral character.
In my adult life, I have had the pleasure of meeting many different and difficult challenges within life. These challenges and experiences include, attending college, traveling, ministry, and many other challenges.
I have had the pleasure and opportunity to travel to many places across North America, including Canada, and Mexico. I have been to all four corners of the United States: California, Washington, Maine, and Florida. These travels include all destinations in between including Portland, Chicago, Omaha, Las Vegas, and Tampa. Indeed, I have seen many amazing things in my travels such as the Grand Canyon, Yellow Stone National Forest, Niagara Falls, going up and down mountains and even on roads that I thought no one should drive on.
After my completion of the Commercial Driver Institute diploma program, Marten Transport, Ltd. employed me. I work with Marten Transport intermittently for four years before deciding to enroll in college.
In late 2003, I accepted the call to become a minister, and after deciding that professional truck driving was not for me, I entered into a Christian ministry school named St. John Bible Institute where I begin working toward a Diploma in Biblical Studies. After leaving the St. John Bible Institute, I completed the School of Worship, Evangelism, and Renewal, where I earned a Diploma in Ministry and Evangelism.
Now, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Ashford University, Clinton, IA.
In May of 2006, I was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel by Saint John Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is a brief overview of my life.
