Gary Trenchard - Fusion, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Latin, Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, Continental, Global, Country, Classical Musician - Drummer
....... I am a musician, painter, photographer, designer and enterprise architect.
In high school I played jazz, classical and rock and roll and was a member of the Michigan Youth Symphony under the direction of Dr. William D. Revelli. I recieved a music scholarship to attend Adrian College. I have played with many jazz, rock and fusion bands including Southbound, XWay, Grooves, Papineau and Friends, Pan Fried Mojo and String Theory.
I attended Berklee College of Music in the 70's and was lucky enough to study jazz drumming under Alan Dawson (Dave Brubeck's drummer) and Gary Chafee.
I also enjoy motorcycles and freedom. I spend a good part of my time playing somehow and somewhere. There are no limits in life or music. Limits only exist in science and people's minds.
Music is a fabric of the universe as represented in string theory. It is no accident that there is a mysterious attraction towards music that cannot be fully understood but certainly fully appreciated.
PRINCIPAL ONE: There are no limits to what the human mind can do.
PONDERINGS on the BIG Questions:
1. Question: Is there "a groove" after death?
Answer: Yes, absolutely, it is well documented ... though you may not be able to hear or feel it.
2. Question: Lets discuss pro and con fusion. What are the tradeoffs ?
Answer: Good Question.
3. Question: So ... you are drummer ... do you need a watch to keep time?
Answer: Take some advice from the great jazz drummer and innovator, Jo Jones, a great timekeeper, who said you do not need a watch ... remove it and you will find less stress.
4. Question: Can you make money in music?
Answer: Drawing on the classical wisdom of Leonard Bernstein, yes, you can make money in music by selling band uniforms. See principal one above.
That nature is beautiful, we must pause to see real paintings at the bottom of a stream for example ... which in many other places of this beautiful planet of ours and we must strive to respect
Que la nature est belle, il faut s'attarder pour découvrir de véritables peintures au fond d'un ruisseau par exemple...où dans beaucoup d'autres endroits de cette magnifique planète qui est la nôtre et que nous devons nous efforcer de respecter.
It's always a pleasure to see your work and read your thoughts. Have you really cleaned your brushes dear Gary? Kisses, Martine
Hi Gary, good SUNday too. The autumn has us fully in the grasp. The weather becomes more coldly however for it the motives for photo all the more beautiful. Come let us sit down and take a break insert.
happy SUN day gary ... false logic ... "your enemy's enemy is your best friend" ... don't believe it or you could be dead ... beware of writers with bad logic, there are plenty of them out there ... somehow they equate turning a phrase with intelligence ... even i can turn a phrase ;););)
... violin concerto in d major by beethoven ... laugh about this attempt, for who, when and how, could paint such a delight ... ok i tried and lied ... who said art is about truth ...
En créant, je m’efforce de reproduire l’émotion d’une réalité envolée et, y recueillir un reflet de mon âme♥ In creating, I just try to reproduce the emotion of a real one flew, to collect a reflection of my soul. Martine
