> Started in seattle, wa in late 2005 by Sam Watts and Ben Blankenship "Ghosts I've Met" has become a rotating cast of friends and musicians..and have recorded upwards of thirty songs at the kitty wells studio in Nashville,tn as well as eleven unreleased songs in seattle,wa with randall dunn (kinski,jesse sykes) and most recently In February of 2008 "ghosts i've met" recorded an e.p of all new recordings entitled "PAYPHONE PATIENCE".Recorded by brent arnold over the winter at the fireplace in New York City and at a vacant rehearsal hall in white plains,ny the ep. will feature sam watts with Darren Jessee (hotel lights,ben folds five) Anne Marie Ruljanchic (jesse sykes,the shins) Ben Blankenship (modest mouse) Brent Arnold (modest mouse,built to spill) Jen Turner(joseph arthur) karen waltuch (wilco,beth orton) margaret white(sparklehorse,cat power)Michael lerner (invincible hummingbirds) joe seely (actual tigers,pillowfighter) and Amy Bezunartea (jennifer o'conner)
