Giana Viscardi's third album "ORUM" is an artistic collaboration with the three times Grammy winner Alê Siqueira (producer of Marisa Monte, Carlinhos Brown and Omara Portuondo, among others) and Bahia's flutist and arranger Letieres Leite (artistic director of the innovative big band Orkestra Rumpilezz).
It brings together African-Brazilian rhythms that were left in a state of purity. These ancient rhythms, present throughout Giana's music, blend harmoniously with Giana's unique jazz touch, and lead contemporary Brazilian Music into a brand new direction.

Giana Viscardi started singing at a very young age and she chose the best music schools to master her favorite genres: Bossa Nova at Zimbo Trio’s School, Samba at São Paulo's Groove School, and Jazz at Boston's Berklee College of Music.

Over nearly 20 years of career as an independent singer songwriter, she has recorded three albums: " Tinge " (USA, 2001), " 4321 " (Brazil, 2005) and "Orum" (Brazil, 2013), which was immediately indicated to “Prêmio da Música Brasileira”, the most prestigious music prize in Brazil. Twenty recordings of her songs were also made by Brazilian singers of her generation such as Mariana Aydar, Izzy Gordon, Dani Gurgel, Manu Santos and Verônica Ferriani (Gafieira São Paulo). João Donato, Roberto Menescal, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Bill Pierce, Rosa Passos, Elba Ramalho, Chico César, Trio Corrente, among others, are artists that Viscardi has already performed with in Brazil and abroad: in Japan, Latin America and Europe on stages such as Montreux Jazz Festival, Moods - Zurich or Berlin's A-Trane.

Giana was invited to sing on various Brazilian popular TV shows

("Ensaio" - TV Cultura, "Som Brasil" , "Programa do Jô" - TV Globo) and

she won many awards (Itaú Cultural, Sesi, Best Song at Ribeirão

Preto’s Festival).
