GodScript is a worship band made up of members of all ages and all backgrounds...with one goal: the presence of God. We believe that God moves and speaks through musical worship. Our music is simple and it comes out of our intimate worship times with God. We are called GodScript because He has literally written our songs during times of individual and corporate spontaneous worship. We also desire to bless people with what God has given us. We truly want to love people and love God more than we love music (which is a lot!)...
i just seen that no one has commented this for a long while...so i thought that as my duty and a member of the band that i would give our band a comment and at the same time be a dork....lol!
We're sorry to report that our current drummer - Josh Render will be leaving Piercing the Darkness at the end of this month (February). We love Josh and will definitely miss him. Josh has been with us since the beginning of 2007. But this opens up a new door for someone out there. If you are a drummer, or know someone who is, please get ahold of us. First, you obviously must be a Christian. Second, you gotta know how to drum (preferably really well:). Other stuff: have your own drums, be willing to practice once a week (right now we practice in Keswick on Wednesdays), be willing to play twice a month (maybe more, maybe less). Living in southeast/southcentral Iowa would also come in handy. Please let us know if you're interested!!!!! And, if you know of someone that may be interested, please pass this along!!! Hey you guys, How's it going. You see, you become famous and you forget about the little people. We miss you both like crazy and are excited about what the Lord is doing in your life. Denise is on her last month of pregnancy. We are having a little girl and we have named her "Anica." We are having a good time in church and the boys are growing like crazy. I guess the Iowa corn is finally kicking in. Call us soon!!!!!!! We love you!!
