Flipped-out double-sided maxi-pop from Jürgen Hall's alter ego, Gunter Adler, who appears to have benefited considerably from all those singing lesson with Holger Czukay. Serving up supper club entertainment for people who aren't very hungry or at the very least have to watch what they eat. Hall scores a few sneaky political points for his insinuating delivery on the strutting "Follow Me" and the fey "Your Destiny", although quite what's happening on "Schwarzes Latex" is anybody's guess. Probably best just to knod and smile and start backing towards the door.

Gunter Adler, que l'on retrouve sur les labels Mik.Musik, Nneon ou Staubgold, s'invite à une séance d'epilation féminine pour y trouver les danseuses de sa prochaine vidéo. Prenant exemple sur le chef de label Felix Kubin, Gunter s'amuse à singer Gus Gus, Peaches, l'électro-mambo je-m'enfoutiste ou l'opérette new wave version Grauzone. Ça sent bon les jamsessions accompagnées d'une caisse de bières. Et ça marche.

Obacht Gunter Adler kommt! Mit einem albernen Beipackzettel und ebenso albernen Texten. Klanglich bittet er in ziemlich düsteren, fast schon überladenen elektroiden Tracks um Gehör. Tiefschwarz trifft NDW in einer Therapiesitzung zum Thema Paranoia oder so ähnlich. Aber so ganz allein steht er da nicht. Kleine Komplizen sind zumindest im zweiten Track auch dabei. Auch geht es um "Eine Elf", "Die Blaue Frau" und "Schwarzes Latex". Es tönt teils echt schräg was der Herr da so bastelt. Eine Mischung aus Hörspiel und Tanzmusik. Menschen, die solche Musik machen bauen bestimmt auch Atombomben im Keller oder malen bunte Kreise auf Eckhäuser. All in all eine abwechslungsreiche Geschichte, zu deren kompletten Verständnis man mehrere Hörgänge braucht. Für den tollen Titel der Scheibe sollte es extra Punkte geben.

Si avvia invece con una cover di Amanda Lear (Follow Me) l'EP di Gunter Adler, violinistain quota alla Groenland Orchester, proseguendo poi coerentemente a colpi di ruvido electro-pop, tra influenze di prima neue welle, spartana deutsche tanz alla D.A.F. E più sbarazzini sberleffi Colonia anni '90. Ed è ancora una volta la carta di una divertita spensieratezza a risultare vincente.

"Den här skivan smakar som Martini. Du kan lyssna pa den före, under och efter det att du badata". Sa säger pressreleasen om albumet med det kanske mest pornografiska omslaget pa länge. Innehallsmässigt följer der ungefär samma koncept. Det är tal om rakblad nyduschade modeller och Moulin Rouge. Dadaism och galenskap, med andra ord. Gunter Adler hat spelat violin i märkliga Groenland Orchester, som later som när Autechre och Aphex Twin spelar Super Maio Bros och bandar ljudet samtidigt. Letar du efter experimentell och intressant elektronica har du, med andra ord, kommit till rätt ställe. Men varför är latarna sa korta ?

I originate from the town of Aachen and claim to
be the second-most famous musician from there.
I am also a member of Augsburger Tafelconfect.
As Gunter Adler dated and graded, i had various
releases on the labels staubgold, mik.musik!, gagarin records.
Recently i began diving into a green broccoli soup preparing
netaudio activity, for instance in 2003 i created the net-label
plakatif.net. I am currently soldering toy instruments and mo-mo-modifying,
circuit bending and composing theatre music for Mariola Brillowska's upcoming play.
I am a member of the stora / freibank artist association group.

On this EP, Hupsydown show his different sounds, "4X4 Lovers" very
tekno dancefloor style, "Born To Be Bass" half Dubstep and half 4X4
Garage Bassline, out on "Force Coming" CD compilation under the name
"Musicale Bubble" with MC Lox, very strong and mythic, and the last
track, "Clark Gabble", is the dark Dubstep side of Hupsydown aka Pushy!
who takes some noises and influences from all the raves since the end
of eighties.
