The Hoolios have fast become favorites on the New England music scene. The six piece roots rock project founded by songwriter Jim Carpenter, is known for taking its audience on a musical travelog around the Gulf of Mexico . . . the rhythm and grooves of alt. country, folk-rock, zydeco and caribbean. The band's debut cd's ('Silver Triangle' and 'Rosalie') were released in January 2009. The CD's feature special guests: Laura Light, Wayne Manca, Louise Mueller, Byron House, John Mock and Kelly Jewel.
