I don't know where I would be without my Teddy Bear to talk to of what went on, think of the children who also have only a bear to tell their woes to. I know I pray to God about it too, but a teddy bear is something you can hold and talk to and cuddle with. Think I am pathetic?

Please keep in mind that the Lakata Indians are among the poorest people in our nation. Most do not have any heat, or running water let alone electricity.
One Spirit is one way to help these people out.
Another is to give to St. Joseph Indian School which helps families cope with issues unique to living on the rez. The school houses children and helps the families with abuse or mental issues they may be having that makes it hard to care for their children.

A life shattered by physical, emotional and sexual abuse, I find pieces of myself surrounding me. I tenderly pick up the pieces and look at them; I wonder if I will ever be whole again.

It is equally arrogant to think yourself less than you are. You are nothing less than the perfect Child of God, born simultaniously with the universe itself. No one else has ever come to form to do what you have come to do. No one else has ever held the same configuration of energy that you do. The nucleus self has held a pattern and has waited throughout all the history of the universe for the time to be right for you to be born to bring the gifts to form that are unique to your highest self. It is the authenic knowing of that self that allows you to live in Humility. That Humility evokes your godlike beingness. When one has that authenticity, then he or she is able to integrate information directly from the light. when one does not have that authenticity, he or she is so veiled that the light is never directly perceived."
