The Pledge wants to see your craziest moments from a volunteer experience. Did you lose your shorts while cleaning the beach or did you end up with someone else's? Are you a bear whose fur got messed up while helping your beaver friend build a dam? Are you a dam who had some crazy bear run up against you? I hear ya baby! Man, I've been there.

Now is your chance to win some pretty sweet schwag!

Submit your original and creative video that promotes Volunteerism to YouTube.com for a chance to win a Just For a Day authentic special edition Nalgene Water Bottle.

Create your videos in any way you can, whether it's on a cell, camcorder, digital camera, or anything else. Once you've finished your video, post it in the YouTube group "Pledge an Hour". All videos submitted to YouTube should include the tag "pledeganhour". Then come back and help us choose the best video by giving the most stars to your favorite video.

There is no entry deadline. Each Thursday we will review the most popular videos and decide on a winner

Videos will be posted per approval for appropriate content.

The Greenpeace Organizing Term (GOT) is an action-packed semester and the best hands-on training available for you to become an environmental leader. You’ll be investing in your leadership skills as you’re trained in grassroots organizing, media, direct action and campaign strategy. You'll also travel abroad with Greenpeace and join a team of incredible activists working together to protect the planet. We are currently accepting applications for the Fall semester. The application deadline is April 4, 2008. Students must be 18-24 years of age and either a high school senior or an undergraduate at a college or university to apply. Buses will pick up and drop off on campus. For information on buses, times, and meeting places on campus, please contact your local Hillel professional.
