Die in Zürich wohnhafte Sabina Leone war Schlagzeugerin bei der All-Girls-Band «Wemean», seitdem spielt sie vor allem Eigenkompositionen mit ihrer Schwester Patrizia als «Sorelle Leone». Das Album «Mancare», im Herbst 2007 erschienen, ist ihr
Solodebut.
Sabina Leone singt Lieder über «mancare», wie im Italienischen das «Fehlen» bezeichnet wird. Ihre Lieder thematisieren Gefühle, die entstehen, wenn Liebe, Respekt und Worte fehlen. Die Melodien berühren sanft und treffen das Herz.

Sabina Leone (*1977) is a singer and drummer living in Zurich, Switzerland.
In her own performances she presents songs mostly written in Italian.
She was the drummer of the all-girl-rockband Wemean, which released
an album in 1996 and playing in Europe and Cuba.
Since 1998 she runs the duo Sorelle Leone together with her sister
Patrizia Leone with lively and clownish folk oriented Italian canzoni.
In her solo project Sabina Leone touches the bottom of one's heart, singing in a great colour of tones and arranging her songs with a band that includes guitar, cello, string bass, piano, and herself on percussion.
With her solo debut album "Mancare" from 2007 she received great attention from radio, newspapers and television in Switzerland.
Sabina Leone sings about «mancare», as «lacking» is described in Italian. She sings about feelings, which arise, when love, respect and words are lacking. The melodies touch softly and target the heart.
