As seen on MTV and heard on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance", the Blaire Reinhard Band is a roots rock outfit hailing from the NYC area. Their debut album "Steps On the Ceiling" showcases inventive songwriting and engaging hooks. Blaire's soulful voice is the common thread that unifies their indie pop, alt rock and blues influences. Strong family ties between bandmates are evident in their tight live performances and natural co-writing abilities; in the band are Blaire's brother Gray Reinhard (piano/guitar) and her husband Wade Perrin (bass/harmonica), along with drummer Keith Woodward. Blaire and Gray have been performing together since childhood, inspired by their grandfather Doc Severinsen, bandleader on the "Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson."
The BRB has opened for national acts such as Kenny Loggins, the Gin Blossoms, Pete Francis (of Dispatch), Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, The Pat McGee Band, and Blessid Union of Souls. The band has been joined onstage by harmonica virtuoso John Popper of Blues Traveler, and they were featured on MTV alongside Alicia Keys and Nick Lachey in an episode of “Fresh Takes,” performing their original song "Gutterbottom Blues." Blaire has also had music featured on HBO, NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC, FX, and Comedy Central, in shows such as "Lincoln Heights" (theme song), "Chappelle's Show", "Kath & Kim", "Felicity", "Young and the Restless", "Six Feet Under", "The Black Donnellys", and "Over There".
Blaire and the band are currently recording their sophmore album and gigging on the East Coast. Catch a show and Click here to pick up a copy of "Steps On The Ceiling."
Thanks for the add. You should name your band "The Blaire Reinhard Project." It would sound like the "The Blaire Witch Project," then, and be kind of catchy, no? :)
