Tina, I got a kick out of your song "Wisconsin" this morning. I used to play in Austin in the 70s with Shake Russell and Johnny Vandiver in Ewing Street Times and other groups. Once I went to Madison with my dear friend Geanie Stout, a soulful blues singer and writer, and man did we bomb even though there were players in the band who had played with Boz Scaggs, Elvin Bishop and Paul Butterfield. Geanie's a great writer on my top friends but the agent one time booked us in Oshkosh, by kosh, as a country club as a polka band. All anyone knew was "Roll Out the Barrel." The crowd was not happy. Will meet up with you soon. Come to the Hill Country when I can and play with different acts. We want to move down there. Am friends with ShAnnie and Sol Patch and Graham and played on Susie Warley's CD release party. Wish you well on your travels and be safe and thanks for bringing a smile to my morning.
